Market & tariff

Choose your label market and enter the electricity price from your bill.

For example, 20 cents/kWh is 0.20 USD/kWh. Use your own bill rate.

Changing market selects a currency and clears the draft price for you to enter. Currency changes do not convert prices. Your remembered market sets the label reader's starting market; shared examples keep their own inputs. Separate scenario rates stay as entered.

Clearing removes saved market, tariff, scenarios and measurement observations. Export journal records you want to keep first. Analytics choices are managed separately in the footer.

A. Air fryer

Enter 0 preheat minutes if none. Use 1 session if all batches share the same preheat. Rated watts assume a constant draw; measured energy includes cycling.

B. Electric oven

Enter 0 preheat minutes if none. Use 1 session if all batches share the same preheat. Rated watts assume a constant draw; measured energy includes cycling.

Illustrative inputs, not product averages. Compare the same quantity of food cooked to the same result. Currency changes formatting only.

How we calculate this

A: 0.575 kWh; B: 1.833333 kWh. Cost per meal = energy × your rate. Annual difference = (B cost − A cost) × 4 meals per week × 52 weeks.

Power mode: input kW × (cooking minutes × batches + preheat minutes × preheat sessions) ÷ 60. Measured mode uses your complete-meal kWh directly. Electricity only; purchase cost is excluded. The weekly routine and tariff are held constant.
