Measured mode divides the measured kWh by complete measurement days, then multiplies by your use days. Electricity only, at a constant entered rate. Fixed charges and other household costs are excluded.

Understand watts, time and cost

Before you calculate

Use the electrical input for the heat setting selected. A maximum nameplate rating may differ from a lower setting.
The hourly figure applies at the entered power. A thermostat can reduce average use; no universal cycling factor is assumed.
For complete-day measurements, keep the intended thermostat setting and include the usual heating schedule in the sample.
Enter heating use days for your chosen period rather than assuming year-round use.
This estimates electricity for direct electric heaters. It does not infer heat-pump efficiency or compare whole-house heating systems.
