Market & tariff

Choose your label market and enter the electricity price from your bill.

For example, 20 cents/kWh is 0.20 USD/kWh. Use your own bill rate.

Changing market selects a currency and clears the draft price for you to enter. Currency changes do not convert prices. Your remembered market sets the label reader's starting market; shared examples keep their own inputs. Separate scenario rates stay as entered.

Clearing removes saved market, tariff, scenarios and measurement observations. Export journal records you want to keep first. Analytics choices are managed separately in the footer.

YOUR HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICITY

See where the energy goes.

All starting rows are illustrative. Add up to 30 rows. Enter the energy for one appliance; quantity multiplies it.

Appliance 1

The stated annual figure is used directly.

Appliance 2

Uses your cycle count and 52 weeks.

Appliance 3

Assumes this input draw continues during the entered time.

How the household total works

Annual label = stated annual kWh. Cycle energy = kWh per cycle × cycles per week × 52. Power energy = watts ÷ 1,000 × hours per use day × use days. Measured energy = sample kWh ÷ complete sample days × use days. Each row is multiplied by quantity, then summed. Annual energy × your unit rate gives the electricity cost.

Match each source’s programme and scope. Annual test figures are not adjusted to household use; power mode holds input constant. A measurement of the whole house must not be added alongside appliances already included in it.
